Shakespeare Santa Cruz, the professional West Coast theater company that performs on the UC Santa Cruz campus, and The Print Gallery have been working backstage together since the raising of the first curtain, producing the t-shirts, sweatshirts, aprons, tote bags and hats that bard fans love to wear! And wear them they do! Each year, The Print Gallery and Shakespeare Santa Cruz work closely to design and produce a prolific amount of merchandise to feed the souvenir frenzy of discriminating fans! These festival shirts and gear have become collectors items over the past few decades for visitors to the summertime festival. It is not uncommon to see Shakespeare Santa Cruz shirts flying from forgotten drawers and onto the backs of a large percentage of the regional population.
