Shakespeare Santa Cruz, the professional West Coast theater company located on the UCSC campus, and The Print Gallery have been working backstage together since the raising of the first curtain, producing the t-shirts, sweatshirts, aprons, tote bags and hats that bard fans love to wear! And wear them they do! Each year, The Print Gallery, Shakespeare Santa Cruz and local artist Mott Jordan, join forces to create and produce a prolific amount of merchandise to feed the souvenir frenzy of discriminating 'Bardolators.' These festival shirts and gear have become collectors items over the past few decades for fans of
the festival, and around July when the festival heats up, it is not uncommon to see Shakespeare Santa Cruz shirts flying from forgotten drawers and onto the backs of a large percentage of the population.
